Roof Top Bars

Bangkok’s rooftop bar scene in 2026 offers everything from iconic “Hangover” movie locations to lush “urban jungles” and sophisticated jazz lounges. Most venues enforce a smart casual dress code (no sports shorts, flip-flops, or sleeveless shirts for men) and typically open around 5:00 PM for sunset views.

Practical Tips for 2026

Pricing: Cocktails at top-tier bars like Sky Bar can range from 1,300 to 2,700 THB (approx. $35–$75), while more casual spots like Octave or Three Sixty average 400–600 THB

Reservations: Popular spots like Octave and Sirocco often require booking weeks in advance, especially for edge-side tables.

Minimum Age: Most rooftop bars strictly enforce a 20+ age limit and require a physical passport or ID for entry.

Timing: Aim to arrive by 5:15 PM to secure a spot for the sunset, which typically occurs between 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM.
