People often mistake Bangkok as a stopping off point before heading to the beaches or islands or other parts of Thailand but there is so much to see here than even spending a week here would mean you wouldn’t see a fraction of what Bangkok has to offer.
Top Tip: Many people travel to the famous (and very touristy) Damnoen Saduak floating market which is 1.5hrs from Bangkok in Ratchaburi but the Taling Chan Floating Market which in our opinion is much nicer and more authentic only twenty minutes away! It’s only open at weekends but is a great local market.
