How to get to Asiatique

BTS: The nearest BTS is Saphan Taksin and then take a taxi or use the shuttle boat from the pier.
MRT: Asiatique isn’t near a MRT Station

Come out of the Condo and head towards the security box, turn left towards Chareon Nakhon Road. (There is a small shop on the left here that sells most things) When you reach the road turn left and walk to the police box near the junction. Senafest will be opposite you. If you continue along the road on the same side you’ll find a 7-11 and just beforehand a nice place to eat and drink called “Box of Fit”

If you cross the road to Senafest http://www.senafest.com/en/ you will find a Villamarket (ex-pat supermarket) where you can get food from home albeit at imported prices but also fresh fruit and veg. It’s not the cheapest but it is very handy.

There are also some nice restaraunts chains upstairs and a dentist and about 12-20 small shops including a pharmacy downstairs. There is also a Pizza Hut there.

ICONSiam

Just up the road is ICONSiam which is a massive shopping complex with major high-end retailers and some nice deli type food establishments including a bakery on the ground floor. They have multiplex cinemas on the top floor.

ICONSiam can be reached by foot in 15 mins as it’s only 800m away.

Across the River

Near the Saphan Taksin BTS (head towards Chareon Krun road) and turn left is Robinsons which has a TOPS supermarket downstairs (Thai style) and a PowerBuy (electrical goods) upstairs as well as a comprensive range of food places and a McDonalds at the front.

Chatuchak Market (JJ Market)

There are 15,000 stalls at JJ Market and it’s mainly open at weekend. You can buy anything there ! Get on the BTS and get off at Mo Chit (which used to be the terminal station). From there it’s a 2 mins walk.
